Samskrita Bharati’s volunteer-instructors employ an effective and natural teaching technique based on the manner in which a child learns its native tongue. During this 1st level class, participants will learn basic skills of spoken Samskritam and will be expected to attend a weekly study meeting to practice what they have learned as well as learn new concepts. Samskrita Bharati has developed a curriculum to help anyone with no prior knowledge of Samskritam learn and start understanding Ramayanam (or similar original texts) in 2 years (see url below for details).
Samskrita Bharati is a volunteer-based non-profit organization that is dedicated to promote the language of Samskritam. It strives to create samskritam-speaking communities across the country by conducting classes, camps and a variety other programs.
Kids classes introduce alphabets and basic spoken Samskritam and will be conducted separately.
