SAFL Program for High Schoolers
Samskrita Bharati USA offers the Samskritam As a Foreign Language (SAFL) program, an engaging and accessible online learning experience for high school students (grades 8-12). This three-year distance education program is designed to introduce students to the rich world of Samskritam through conversation, tailored to individual learning needs and interests.

Program Structure
The SAFL program is divided into three distinct levels:
- SAMS100 (Beginner): No prior knowledge of Samskritam is required.
- SAMS200 (Intermediate)
- SAMS300 (Advanced)
Each academic year consists of two semesters and a week long accelerated program during the summer. Students typically need to successfully complete preceding courses to advance to the next semester or year.
Accreditation & Benefits
The SAFL program offers significant benefits, including accreditation:
- Accredited Program: Since July 2016, SAFL has been accredited as a supplementary education program by the Accrediting Commission for Schools, Western Association of Schools and Colleges (ACS WASC). SAFL WASC accreditation code
