Here are some past and ongoing projects that are making a significant impact:
- Sarasvati Seva (Creation of Samskritam Literature):
This remarkable project focused on publishing new and translated works in Samskritam by talented poets, writers, and scholars. In total, over 300 books were published, covering a wide range of subjects including:- Teaching and learning materials
- Short stories and novels
- Philosophy and biographies
- Current topics and issues
- Dharma (righteous conduct) and culture
- Leadership and science
- Other modern subjects
This extensive effort was led by Samskrita Bharati India, with vital sponsorship from various countries, including significant contributions from the USA.
- SAFL (Samskritam As a Foreign Language) Textbooks:
Here in the USA, we’ve published textbooks specifically for our SAFL program. These books are designed similarly to foreign language textbooks used by high school students in the USA, making Samskritam accessible and engaging. We’ve also published informational books tailored for children. - Animated Movie on Sri Satyanarayana Kathaa:
An exciting animated movie based on Sri Satyanarayana Kathaa is currently in production, entirely in Samskritam! This project is being realized through crowdfunding, with Samskrita Bharati Canada leading the efforts. - Samskrita Bhavanam (Washington D.C.):
An ongoing project involves building a dedicated Samskrita Bhavanam (Samskritam House/Center) in the Washington D.C. area. This will serve as a hub for learning, cultural activities, and community engagement. You can learn more about this initiative at https://padam.samskritabharatiusa.org/.
